Synopsis:
Shiva (Sundeep Kishan) is a careless youth who doesn't have any ambitions in life. His job is to hang out with his friend Vasanth (Jagan) and he falls for Sandhya (Dimple). Both Sandhya and Shiva love each other and when Sandhya is about to leave USA for higher studies, she comes to know about her pregnancy. After an unconventional episode, Shiva marries Sandhya, but things don’t change. While Sandhya starts working, Shiva still has got his arrears to complete. Well, who is Mahesh in this film? What has Mahesh got to do in between Shiva and Sandhya? Answers to these threads form the rest of the movie.

Analysis:
After checking out the promos of 'Mahesh', audience will come to know that, this film is going to be an adult comedy entertainer mixed with some suspense, episodes. Well that guess would have been correct, if the makers of 'Mahesh' had some time to edit the movie for the Telugu version. Continuity between the scenes was missing and some of the audience might really think that the film has come to an end even before the interval episode.

So what is good in Mahesh? Comedian Jagan is the relief part and so is 'Jabardasth' fame Dhanraj's dubbing. Dimple looked hot in two songs and the music was ok. There are some funny and 'A' rated scenes in the film (Please note 'Some Scenes'). Apart from these, everything else seemed to be terrible. I would say, first half of the movie is good, when compared the second half, as the later will be a test for our patience. Overall, Mahesh is definitely another forgettable film in Sundeep Kishan's career.

Technicalities:
Music by Gopi Sundar is just ok and BGM is bad. Nothing special about Raana's cinematography. Apart from some one liners, dialogues by MS Uday are average. Editing work is very bad and there is no continuity between the scenes in the first half.

Performances:
This film needs a hero who should always look like he is lost somewhere. This is the only reason why Sundeep Kishan suited for this role and he offers nothing new for the audience. Dimple was good. Jagan is the major asset for the film. Others did their job.

Positives:
Jagan

Negatives:
Sundeep Kishan
Editing
Second Half
