Break Up Review: It’s A Torture

Cast: Ranadir and Swathi Deekshith
Music: Indus Gharana
Direction: Amar Kamepalli
Break up, directed by Amar Kamepally, is based on a true story. It has Ranadir and Swathi Deekshith in lead roles. It deals with love and ego between young lovers.
Vikky (Ranadir) is an aspiring cricketer. He falls in love with his fan Nisha (Swathi Deekshith). Nisha suffers from few family problems and breaks up with Vikky. Vikky believes that girls are gentle at heart and boys should deal carefully instead of blaming them. Rest of the story is all about how Vikky keeps his ego aside, convince Nisha for a reunion.
Ranadir is a bad choice for the role of Vikky. His expressions are pale. Swathi Deekshith is okay. Suresh played an important role of Nisha’s uncle and he justified it. Subhashini is neat in a short role.
Break up is a normal love story with many confusing elements. First half is dragging and tests your patience. Story is flat and predictable. You’ll feel the film has picked up in the second half but falls flat by the end with a silly flashback and stupid twist. The entire story is nothing but a crap with no logic. Couple of songs are good and background score is okay. Cinematography is neat. Production values are neat.
A good story plot is not justified in Break Up due to poor screenplay and dragging narration. Every department of the film completely failed except cinematography. Watch it if you love to torture yourself.
