Venky’s Group Ties Up With Bandla Ganesh

The market of Telugu Cinema is spreading day-to-day. Every film of a star hero can collect a gross of 100 crore with a mediocre content and proper publicity. As per our sources, they are going to tie up with producer Bandla Ganesh and produce Telugu films in association with Parameshwara Arts. Bandla Ganesh own poultry farms in Telangana region. He is already a partner of Venky’s group in poultry business and now their relationship is extended to films.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi is likely to release on September 27, 2013. Earlier, the makers have planned to release the film in the first week of October but due to the speculations about the piracy print in the market, makers have planned to come up with the release in the last week of September. Lot of doubts are being raised on the unit members of 'Attarintiki Daredi' and especially the technical department. Pawan Kalyan fans and other hero fans are supporting the film and are trying their best to stop the piracy in the market. NTR fans happy with RV trailer

Narayana Murthy insults Tollywood

Narayana Murthy insulted Tollywood at 100 yrs of Indian Cinema celebrations at Chennai. Narayana Murthy got irritated when 20 singers kept on singing for more than 30 minutes. He quickly went to the stage and tried pulling mike from one singer and was about to speak. C.Kalyan and Rajasekhar prevented him from doing so which made Narayana Murthy even furious. He started shouting at them. Dil Raju pacified him and bought him back to the stage. Narayanamurthy once again vented his anger at organisers questioning whether it was a audio function or cinema function. C.Kalyan president of Organising committee pulled the mike and commented its better to banish Murthy from 100 yrs celebrations.

Vidya launches tech-based learning system

Thanapur (Uttar Pradesh): Actress Vidya Balan here Sunday launched a mobile phone-based learning system that seeks to make the learning process interesting for children.

According to the system, following a missed call on toll free No.18001208989, a recorded message would play on the return call that would take children through a learning module in an interesting manner.

The learning system, as part of Nihar Naturals Shanti Amla's 'Chhote Kadam Pragati ki Aur' initiative, will help children learn English words.

The brand, in association with Child Relief and You (CRY) India, is in its second phase of the campaign and brand ambassador Vidya showed how to use the IVR (interactive voice response) system.

"I did a similar thing (play a teacher) last year in Lusa village of Mirzapur district. But this time, I had more information to share," Vidya told media here.

She even used Bollywood songs to teach children of the village, also situated in the same district. 

The "Paa" star believes movies have the largest reach in this context. "When you use a song to tell them something ... you are hoping it stays with them. It has strong impact on them," said Vidya.

Nihar Naturals Shanti Amla in association with CRY also created a learning environment by placing wind chimes of alphabets and numbers and wall paintings with simple Hindi to English translations in the village.

Vidya also interacted with self-help group women who are spearheading the campaign in their respective regions. They took a pledge to ensure the progress of children's education.

Launched in September 2012, the initiative, aimed at empowering women to support children's education in the country, has made an impact on many lives.

As part of the initiative, two percent of all proceeds from the sale of the hair oil are contributed to the cause of children's education.

Nihar Naturals Shanti Amla has so far supported 19 projects across 10 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Across India, 36,058 children have got the opportunity to get educated. 

Vidya highlighted that in Lusa village alone, the initiative helped motivate 128 children to stay in school, 31 dropouts to re-enrol and upgrade middle school infrastructure.

I'm an unsuccessful producer

National Award winning actor Mithun Chakraborty, who produced "Enemy", says he would like to indulge in production business, but he is not good at it.

"I would like to produce films, but I feel I am an unsuccessful producer. That's the fact. The film didn't work and I felt bad," Mithun told reporters in a group interview.

"The film didn't work, so I am not in that race. Had the film worked, things would have been different. Again it's about taking chance and nobody wants to make flop films," he said, adding that "it's all about public's choice".

"Enemy", released this year, featured Mithun and his son Mahakshay along with Suniel Shetty and Kay Kay Menon.

In the 1980s, Mithun was big star, thanks to the hits like "Disco Dancer" and "Pyaar Jhukta Nahin".

He says he is enjoying his stint as an actor.

"We were alive because of our stardom in those days. Today, I am being offered different roles and I am enjoying every moment of it. Film line is all about chance. I don't think much, I just like to take chance," said the 63-year-old, known for his performances in "Mrigya" and "Agneepath".

Pawan Kalyan movie leak: What’s happening now?

Son of ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ producer has filed a complaint before DGP Dinesh Reddy on the leak of the movie visuals. The  visuals of the movie hasve since been removed from Youtube and the producers have issued a warning that whoever uses the leaked visuals, will have to face legal consequences.    Trouble started when the CDs carrying visuals of about 90 minutes length of the movie were found being sold in Pedana of Krishna district.  The film has been made with a budget of Rs. 50 crore and the film has been getting good talk among the general public. The release of the film has been kept in abeyance due to the ongoing ‘Samaikyandhra’ agitations. Few other films of big heroes like ‘Ramaiah Vastavaiah’ of Jr. NTR and Yevadu of Ram Charan, are also in limbo due to the agitation. Though  RV has been on the fast track of release, release of Yevadu and Attarintiki Daredi has been postponed. It is also said that although Ramaiah Vastavaiah and Yevadu have been produced by Dil Raju, He has been working on the faster release of Ramaiah Vastavaiah. Some people claim that Raju is not able to show full interest on Yevadu, because he is not the only producer and Allu Aravind and one more aassociate of him are behind Yevadu.   But in the recent days, while ‘Yevadu’ producers have decided to wait till normalcy returns, producers of of ‘Attarintiki Daaredi’ have hastened release of their movie. Many people are now expressing surprise at the risk being taken by the producers given the anger of Seemandhra people on films with mega family members.  However a close source, in a startling revelation, says  that when ‘Attarintiki Daaredi’ re-scheduled its release to 27th of September from the earlier date of October 9, a flurry of film's DVDs have appeared in the market. Many feel that this has prompted filmmakers discuss the issue with power star Pawan Kalyan and release the film without any further delay to minimize the damage. Police are now zeroing on the people involved in the release of pirated DVDs of the movie. Police suspect the involvement of two of the old hands in pirated CDs, one belonging to Vijayawada and another belonging to Nellore. These two persons, named Vijay and Venkatesh, are now absconding.

Southern seductress Samantha revealed her lucky three which helped her in attaining immense stardom. Speaking to scribes she says reputation of banner, star and remuneration are not important to her. She says for her story and role are important and if she likes those two, she will not bother about remuneration. Elaborating further she said stars do some films liking stories, some after liking roles and some after liking remuneration. Power Star Pawan Kalyan is currently busy with Gabbar Singh 2. The film's regular shooting will be starting soon. According to sources his new film is supposed to be Ko Bali with Trivikram Srinivas.

Sources say in Kobali Pawan is turning powerful warrior. Kobali's script will be completed after Gabbar Singh 2 goes to sets. Earlier there were rumours that the film would be directed by Trivikram. 

But now it is emerging that Pawan and Trivikram will be producing the film which will be directed by a debutante. 

ANR-Swarna kankanam's presented

Hyderabad: On the occasion of his 90th birthday today, thespian Akkineni Nageswara Rao honored former super star G Krishna, his wife Vijayanirmala, popular director Raghavendra Rao, R Narayana Murthy, Ali, Prasad Thotakura, senior advocate Yellam Rajagopalakrishna Murthy, writer C. Ananda Ramam, P. Madhusudhana Rao and noted commentator MKR Ashalatha with “Swarna Kankanams” (Golden bracelets) at a function organised in Ravindra Bharati here.

The function was organised by Vennam Foundation of America and Vamsee Foundation. Supreme Court judge Jasti Chalameshwar was the chief guest. Kalabandhu T Subbarami Reddy presided over the function while Gnanpeeth awardee Dr C. Narayana Reddy inaugurated the proceedings.

NRIs Ravi Kondabolu, Srinivas Reddy Alla, Murali Vennam, Chalapathi Rao Kondrukunta and N T Choudhary participated. Sharada Akunuri regaled the audience by rendering songs from ANR starrers.

I would not want my kids to watch Big Boss

In a recent interview given to a reputed newspaper, Bollywood actor and Bigg Boss host Salman Khan has said that he would not want his kids to watch such obnoxious shows like Bigg boss. While talking about the fights on the show, Salman said that he does not like contestants going overboard with fights.  "I don`t like it at all. I just feel that there is always somebody younger and somebody older who is watching the show. So, if I am a parent, I would not want my kids to watch such obnoxious stuff on TV. I understand when contestants get into genuine fights inside the house, but don`t appreciate it when they fight only to create noise and get publicity," Salman was quoted as saying.
