Lokanayakudu Kamal Hasan shocked all saying Indian film industry is capable of collecting Rs 1000 crs. Speaking at a meeting in Bangalore, Kamal Haasan says India has more than 100crs population and it is not difficult for a super hit film to get 10% of viewership.
Analysing this he says at such rate a theater collection itself crosses Rs 1000crs. Kamal blame non transparency among distributors and says a little bit of transparency will allow Indian film industry overtake Hollywood.
This shows going by Kamal's words, distributors and producers are showing less theater collections to evade taxes to Govt. If transparency is followed, Tollywood would have crossed 100crs long time back.
