Auto's mystery with 'Annamayya'

Tollywood movie lovers are wondering about the mystery revolving around two films Intinta Annamayya and Autonagar Surya. None are able to understand when they will release.

Intinta Annamayya attracted the attention of all as the film is produced by Saibaba who produced Balakrishna's Srirama Rajyam. The film is directed by ace director Raghavendra Rao. Even the audio was released an year back but filmmakers didnot come with the release date.

Even more sad state of affairs is Autonagar Surya. The film is produced by reputed RR Movies banner with Naga Chaitanya and Samantha who have star image. The film is still not nearing completion and Akkineni fans are wondering what was wrong about the film.

They feel atleast King Nagarjuna should take initiative and release the film Autonagar Surya. Wonder when the two films come out of Lab arrest.

Legend's love for getups or characters?

Filmnagar is abuzz with rumours that Natasimha Balakrishna will be seen in dual role as father and son once again in his upcoming film Legend under the direction of Boyapati Srinu. Everyone is speculating about the storyline of Legend, whether two roles will be there, if so will they appear together or one after the other and how will be younger and elder Balakrishna's roles will be picturised. Now some are saying Balayya will be seen in three roles.

Buzz is he will be seen as a younster, middle aged macho man and elderly person. Some others say they are not roles but only getups. They say Boyapati has taken special care in designing getups for those roles. Still there is no clarity on Balayya's roles or getups. Two and Three confusion is increasing day by day. Balakrishna already stated that one should wait till Diwali to see the first look. Let's watch how Balayya sizzle in two or three getups err roles opposite Sonal Chauhan and Radhika Apte.

Movie lovers expect festival treat and expects more on Diwali. They expect Diwali Dhamaka from their heroes and industry. However this Diwali, Tollywood offers none and movie lovers should be content with only dubbing treat.

There are lot of expectations on Krish 3 while Vishal who iS not having any hits is pinning his hopes on Palnadu. Palnadu directed by Suseedran is produced by Vishal himself while Rakesh Roshan is producing Hrithik's Krish.

Everyone laughed when Arundhati filmmaker Syamprasad Reddy said Tollywood can cross 100crs. Now many are of the opinion that Rajamouli's Bahubali starring Prabhas can cross 100crs just in Telugu.

Sanchita shuns make-up in 'Pizza 2: Villa'

If Sanchita Shetty dolled up for her role in Tamil crime-comedy "Soodhu Kavvum", she has shunned make-up for her upcoming Tamil horror-thriller "Pizza 2: Villa".
"Since I played an imaginary character in 'Soodhu Kavvum', I got to wear a lot of colourful costumes and make up. However, it's the exact opposite in 'Pizza 2: Villa', in which I play a very responsible character and I'm mostly seen in salwar-kameez with no make-up," Sanchita told.

Sanchita essayed Shalu, a manifestation of the hero's imagination in "Soodhu Kavvum".

In Deepan Chakravarthy-directed "Pizza 2: Villa", she is paired with Ashok Selvan.

"It's a completely different role in 'Pizza 2: Villa'. My performance in the film is very refined vis-a-vis my last film, where I could do anything I want because I was an imaginary character. It was challenging to change because people still call me Shalu whenever they see me outside," she added.

The transformation from a vivacious character to a reserved one was difficult, said Sanchita.

"Firstly, there is a lot of expectation from the film because it carries the 'Pizza' franchise. Secondly, with a role so different from my last one, I had to work very hard to pull it off in the film," she said.

Nag's 'Bhai' slumps at box-office

Akkineni Nagarjuna-starrer Telugu action-drama "Bhai", which released Friday worldwide, minted just Rs.2.88 crore in Andhra Pradesh on its opening day. Trade experts believe that the film, said to be made on a budget of Rs.42 crore, is unlikely to break even.

"The film couldn't make money in Andhra Pradesh, which is Nagarjuna's home turf, and I doubt if it can make elsewhere," trade analyst Trinath told.

"It collected only Rs.2.88 crore on the first day in the state. Even his last release 'Greekuveerudu' had a better opening, but 'Bhai' has turned out to be a damp squib," he added.

"Bhai", produced by Nagarjuna, had a solo release, and therefore, was expected to have a grand opening.

"It's very unlikely to have a solo release nowadays since a minimum of three films battle it out at the box-office every week. 'Bhai' had that advantage to take a good opening, but it couldn't due to the bad content," he added.

Directed by Veerabhadram, also starring Richa Gangopadhyay, Prasanna Venkatesan and Sonu Sood in important roles, "Bhai" is the story of a don, played by Nagarjuna, who is sent to Hyderabad to eliminate an undercover cop.
