Former Miss India and then she graced in some Tollywood movies, but then the biggest jackpot in the life of Namrata Shirodkar is undoubtedly becoming the better half of Super Star Mahesh Babu. The two courted each other before they tied knots and the glamorous Namrata quit movies to be with family. 

Later she has become a mother of two; to Gautham and Sitara. Namrata who was earlier not so obvious at public events has been coming out recently but with her hubby and kids and has even walked the ramp recently at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour of 2013 edition showcasing Tarun Tahiliani collection. 

The actor’s wife said that she's being contacted by some Bollywood designers to have their collection showcased by her as she was a model before she turned into an actress. The young lady now expresses a secret desire - to walk the ramp with her dearie Mahesh should anything come interesting for her. Mahesh so far never walked the ramp (indeed most top heroes did) and we will have to wait for Mahesh's comments on wifey's statement!

Once forgotten Lungis in South got their due after Bollywood Badshah Sharukh Khan shook his leg sporting lungi in Chennai Express. Now ever hero is planning to entertain their fans in lungis. It is a different matter that in South, Tamil and Malayalee heroes always be seen wearing lungis in their films. 

Tollywood started reviving the forgotten culture of wearing lungis. Recently Pawan Kalyan showed lungi power in superhit Attarintiki Daaredi. Now lungis are forcing their way even in stars private functions. 

Buzz is recently Bahubali unit members partied and the uniqueness of the party was it had the lungi dress code. Leader Rana posted the picture of enjoying his drink along with director SS Rajamouli son Karthikeya in Lungi.

Sunny Leone did Katrina Kaif ‘Boom’ act!

Do you remember Katrina Kaif famous sleazy act with Gulshan Grover where she open her top exposing her bra from ‘Boom’? Sunny Leone is doing the same in her forth coming film ‘Jackpot’. After all, the director for both the films are same, Kaizad Gustad.  

The film trailer released today and Sunny Leone definitely not disappointed her fans with her sex appeal in the trailer at least. 

While Sunny refused to do a threesome in the film, she definitely didn't mind shedding some clothes. You will see Sunny in a two-piece and there are some steamy bed scenes with the hero. Makers of this film definitely know how to cash in on Sunny’s presence in the film.Will this be a sexy con film or will the audience be conned with just skin show and no substance, we’ll have to wait and watch. Naseeruddin Shah, Sachin Joshi and Makarand Deshpande are others in the star cast.

Satya 2 dialogues disturbs hornet's nest

Satya 2 promo would have been a pretty insignificant affair if the dialogues on Mumbai underworld mafia didn’t come out in the promo.

Especially one deserves a particular mention: Dawood Ibrahim has retired, Chhota Rajan has become inactive, Abu Salem is in jail..." 

Now we know Varma shares a special rapport with controversies, don’t we? And thanks to that controversial dialogue the movie has been in hype and buzz with the youth. That’s what the maverick director wanted to happen too. But aside the hype the dialogue had irked the real mafia world it looks like. The director has received life threats post Satya 2 promos and he has even informed police about the threats he’s been receiving. According to sources he was threatened by Chota Shakeel.

Police confirmed that their investigations have tracked a number that belonged to Shakeel although he is not available at the number at moment. RGV is known to be one who would give a damn to anyone but looks like he’s a little shaken with the threats and wanted to seek police help. But all that being said why would he want to disturb a hornet’s nest every single time?

Race Gurram first looks racing to be unveiled?

Race Gurram seems to be lagging behind in the race with competition when it came to revealing the first look. However, it’s rumored now that the first look of Race Gurram will go off the wraps during November.

With the movie slated to release for 2014 Pongal we need to wait for official confirmation though. Race Gurram team is currently in RFC filming some important action sequences with Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Kick Shyam. Surender Reddy is at the helm of this movie.

Shruti Hasan will be seen opposite Allu Arjun and Saloni is doing second fiddle to Allu Arjun. SS Thaman is scoring music for the movie and Nallamalupu Bujji is the producer of this big-ticket racy entertainer.

Cherry multi starrer not taking off?

More recently much has been talked about Mega Power Star Ram Charan's multi starrer with Victory Venkatesh under the direction of Krishna Vamsi. However according to the latest film nagar talk, the project is cancelled. This is shocking to mega fans as the project is cancelled after the filmmakers confirmed even the muhurat date after finalising cast and crew.

The project which is supposed to start in Krishna Vamsi's direction in the first week on Nov will not start at all. Buzz is Venkatesh dropped out as he was not satisfied with the story. Krishna Vamsi made some changes but even the revised version didnot appeal to Venky. So the project supposed to be produced by Bandla Ganesh got shelved. While Venky's film Masala starring Ram is readying for release, Cherry's Yevadu is waiting in the labs.

NTR shows his 'Joru'

NTR whose Ramayya Vastavayya didnot take off as expected is getting ready for his next film under the direction of Santosh Srinivas of Kandireega fame. Filmmakers earlier planned to name the film as Rabhasa. But now they are having second thoughts and are considering 'Joru' for the film as they feel that it will appeal to both mass and class movie lovers.

NTR in the meantime is showing his 'Joru' as he is participating in high voltage action scenes in a house at Ramoji Film City. Ram Lakshman are choreographing stunts on NTR and other actors. Film stars Samantha and Praneetha and is touted to be summer entertainer next year. Thaman is the music director. 

People not fed up with stars' police power?

Many always dread at the thought of police and the use of their brute police power. People are scared to approach police as they got bad brand name of targeting innocents to close their cases,hobnobbing with the real culprits.

Even in films, many used to show police as jokers and who come only at the end or corrupt cops who collude with criminals. However star heroes are showing their police right from the start. From Senior NTR to Ram Charan everyone donned Khaki colours and entertained all.

Sometime back khaki colour lost its sheen on silver screen but once again it stars are showing their full power.While all heroes showed their police power on silver screen Pawan Kalyan gave new definition to police in Gabbar Singh. Now he is doing Gabbar Singh 2.

Even Mahesh Babu showed his power in Dookudu and is continuing the same in Aagadu. Buzz is Allu Arjun will be seen as police in Race Gurram. Ram Charan turned cop in Toofan. One is wondering whether stars turned mad of police dress or directors are not having any stories other than police stories.

Kajal’s Diwali Double Dhamaka

This Diwali is going to give double treat for Kajal Agarwal and her fans. Her film with Karthi, All in All Azhaguraja, will hit the screens on Nov 02 on the eve of Diwali. On the same day, first look of Jilla will be released. Kajal is acting with Vijay in Jilla after Tupaki. Hence there are high expectations on the film.

All in All Azhaguraja (AAA) is competing with Ajith-Vishnuvardhan’s Arrambham and Vishal’s Pandinadu for Diwali in Tamil Nadu. AAA has good expectations because it is directed by M Rajesh who directed hit films in a row. Mohanlal is playing important role in Jilla. This film will be released during Sankranthi 2014.

Ravi Teja Dubbing For Romeo

It is known that Ravi Teja is essaying a special role in Sairam Shankar’s Romeo. The actor finished dubbing his role yesterday. Earlier, Sairam Shankar played an important role in Ravi Teja’s Neninthe. Now Ravi has reciprocated it.

Post production work of Romeo is going on in full swing. Adonika is playing female lead. Romeo is written by Puri Jagannadh and directed by Gopi Ganesh. Sunil Kashyap composed the music and Valluripalli Ramesh produced it. Romeo will hit the screens in the month of December.

NTR Fighting In Ramoji Film City

Rabhasa is the title under consideration for NTR’s next film. It is being directed by Kandireega fame Santosh Srinivas and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. Shooting of this mass entertainer is going on in full pace. A huge house set has been erected at Ramoji Film City and a fight scene is being shot now between NTR and a bunch of fighters.

Samantha and Praneetha are playing heroines in Rabhasa. Thaman is composing the music. As Ramayya Vasthavayya turned into Average folk, fans of NTR have pinned all their hopes on Rabhasa. Lets hope Rabhasa gives NTR a much needed hit.

Wife strict condition to Hero husband!

Music composer G V Prakash is donning the lead role in a Tamil film titled 'Pencil'. He recently married to his long time girlfriend  Saindhavi . His wife has strictly told him not to the kiss the heroine with whom he is pairing.

Talking about acting "My wife Saindhavi did not restrict me from acting but she told me that I should not lip lock with my heroine.She also told me not to act in intimate scenes. Everyone can see my film. Though I have become an actor I will not stop composing music. Only music gave me my daily bread.” said Prakash.

Sri Divya is pairing with  Prakash in the film. 

Big'B' honoured with Hridaynath Mangeshkar Award

Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was honoured with yet another award, this time, one that holds a special place in his heart. Big B received the third Hridaynath Mangeshkar Award for his contribution to the film industry in Mumbai.

The award ceremony is held every year on October 26, the birthday of Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar, music composer and the brother of veteran playback singers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle.

At the award function, Bachchan said, “Lataji has been exceptionally kind to us even in past when she sang for Jaya (Bachchan)….I am truly honoured by this award.”

Tapsee's Love Affair

Tempting beauty Tapsee after Sahasam is turning dare devil. Currently she is showing her love affair with bikes stunning all onlookers. Tapsee who made her Bollywood debut with Chashme Baddoor is currently starring in her second Bollywood flick.

The film's teaser was released recently and it resembles her first film's teaser. In her first film Chashme Baddoor Tapsee was seen sitting on a bike along with Siddharth, Ali Zafar and Divyendu Sharma.

Now the recently released teaser shows Tapsee on a bike with Amit Sadh. Tapsee says “I had a sense of déjà vu when we did this look, but I can say that apart from the bike factor, nothing else in these two films are similar,” . Differentiating her characters Tapee says “In my debut film, I was a funloving girl, and took things in my stride. But in this film, I’m more of a go-getter.” She adds, “The bike proved lucky for me in my debut film. And now, I’m hoping it will be the same case for this flick as well.”

Normally in Tollywood and even in any other film industries, producers and directors spin stories keeping in view heroes and their image. They behave as if other characters are inconsequential. However for the first time they are making films banking on a heroine.

Filmmakers are now ready to take Anushka as the lead actor, with the impression that with Anushka they have got nothing to lose and  their confidence comes from Anushka's super success witth 'Arundhati'. But this trend does some good to other heroines. 

But now the confidence of filmmakers in Sweety Anushka is worth 100 crs. Budgets of her 'Varna' and 'Rudramadevi' cross 100crs in total. While one is a thriller, another is a period venture. One should be careful with experimentation since Megastar Chiranjeevi himself tasted failures.But without confidence on mesmerising Mangalore beauty Anushka, producers are no fools to invest 100 crs.

Radhika returns to Telugu films after a decade

Actress Radhika Sarathkumar, known for her memorable character performances in Telugu films such as 'Swathi Mutyam'and 'Swati Kiranam', is returning to the industry after a decade with romantic-drama 'Undile Manchi Kaalam Mundu Munduna' (UMKMM).

Radhika's last Telugu outing was Ram Gopal Varma-directed "Prema Katha" (1999), which earned her the Nandi Award, the highest honour in Telugu cinema, for best supporting actress.

"We were on the lookout for a senior actress to essay an important role in the film. We did have a few names in mind, but finally zeroed in on her. She is a wonderful actress with a lot of experience and I'm confident she will do justice to her part," the film's director Arun Dasyam said.

The film features Sudhakar of "Life is Beautiful" fame in the title role, while the hunt for the leading lady is underway.

Also starring veteran actress Purnima, UMKMM is expected to go on floors soon.

Radhika, who has starred in over 50 films over the years, is currently keeping herself busy with acting work on television. She had also produced Tamil films like 'Kannamoochi Yenada' and 'Chennaiyil Oru Naal'.

Sushmita Sen receives Mother Teresa International Award

Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen has been awarded the Mother Teresa International Award by NGO The Harmony Foundation for her efforts towards achieving social justice.

Sushmita, who is associated with charitbale projects and NGOs, received the award Sunday and took to Twitter to express her feelings.

"Beautiful People!...wanted you to wake up to 'The Mother Teresa International Award', which I received last night...precious," Sushmita posted on the microblogging site early Monday morning.

The Harmony Foundation also honoured former Outlaw motorcycle club member Sam Childers for his efforts towards rescuing children from a war-zone in Sudan.

"What a privilege to meet with Sam Childers..his life dedicated to saving the lives of children in Sudan from a Militant outfit," the actress added.

The 37-year-old is known for hits like "Biwi No.1" and "Main Hoon Na".

Ram-Leela gets UA certificate

Buzz has it that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram-Leela has the Censor Board of Film Certification with a UA certification.

However, there were no cuts verbal or visuals. An UA certificate which means children can only watch Ram-Leela accompanied by grown-ups. All of SLB’s earlier films Khamoshi, Hum…Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, Saawariya barring Guzaarish have been granted U certificates.

Says a source from Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions, Sanjay sir expected a UA for Ram-Leela. The basic storyline is violent and there are a lot of guns in the film. But the censor board has been liberal with the aggressive language and the violence. They understood the context.” Now that is indeed very good news for the team!

Shilpa Shetty taking on Mumbai Underworld!

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is quite excited about her upcoming production venture film Dishkiyaaoon, which is set in the backdrop of Mumbai's underworld.

"It is a full-on masala entertainer. It is an interesting film on the underworld. Imagine Shilpa Shetty making a film on Mumbai underworld, it sounds bizarre. But I loved the script. It is the story of a guy who wants to make it as a gangster, the struggle of this one guy. It is an emotional story. It has beautiful songs," said Shilpa at a recent event.

The film is set to release on January 10 next year. Well we wish you all the very best Shilpa!
