Kailash Kher's 'Sachin anthem' free online for month

Singer Kailash Kher is paying a tribute to master blaster Sachin Tendulkar with his "Sachin anthem". The song will be available on his website for free download for a month.

The 40-year-old said the video of the song will be available on his YouTube channel from Nov 14, the day Sachin will star playing his last match in Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.

"We are presently shooting for the video of the song. The song will be available online from Nov 13 and the video can be seen on our YouTube channel from Nov 14. We want to celebrate this moment as a festival for a month, so the song will be available for a free download on our website for a month," Kailash told in a telephonic interview.

The lyrics of the song goes like "Ek hai samandar, ek chand, ek sooraj, ek hai Himalaya, ek hai gagan, ek hai Bharat, ek Bharat ka sachin". The talented singer says that the song shows his love and emotions for the cricket legend.

"I finished the song in three days. From composing to recording and production, it was all complete in those three days. I am a big fan of Sachin and this song has Kailash's love and emotions for him," he said.

The "Tauba tauba" singer already had plans to pen down a song for Sachin when he met him in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

"When Sachin made his 100th international century against Bangladesh in 2012, even I was present in Dhaka during that time. I had planned to write a song for him since then, but got busy with something or the other.

"About two-three weeks ago, I was talking to Suresh Raina who told me that this will be Sachin's last Test match. That's when I decided to pen down the song and show what I feel about him through it," he said.

My mom, wife and sister are my superwomen

Chennai: Actor Hrithik Roshan, who donned the superhero avatar in the "Krrish" franchise, doesn't need a superwoman in real life.

"I don't think I need a superwoman in real life because I have my mother (Pinky), wife (Sussanne) and sister (Sunaina). They are my superwomen and I'm glad to have them in my life. They hold a very special place and I don't want anyone else to replace it," Hrithik told reporters here Monday.

He was speaking at the meet-and-greet event organized to celebrate the success of "Krrish 3", which has reportedly minted over Rs.200 crore worldwide.

When asked how it makes him feel to play a superhero, he said: "Being a superhero is like playing any one of us because we all have it inside us. It has been a great journey for me and I learnt a lot by playing the character."

"I have learnt about several values a superhero posses and his service to the world. Even if we have five percent of those values, we can make the world a nicer place to live," he added.

Rakesh Roshan-directed and produced "Krrish 3", which also features Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra and Vivek Oberoi in important roles, has done exceptionally well in Tamil Nadu as well.

I'll start working on 'Krrish 3' sequel soon

Actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan said Monday he is planning a "Krrish 3" sequel but in future will work with Hrithik on a fresh script outside the "Krrish" franchise.

"I'm currently not working on a film outside the 'Krrish' franchise with Hrithik, but I will do a film in the future. I would love to direct him in a fresh script as soon as I'm relieved with this franchise," Rakesh Roshan told reporters here.

The filmmaker, known for directing films such as "Khoon Bhari Maang" and "Karan Arjun", launched Hrithik with hit movie "Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai" in 2000.

"I will start working on the sequel soon. Due to public demand, we may include some sidekick characters as well," said Rakesh Roshan.

Accompanied by Hrithik and cinematographer Tirru, senior Roshan was here to celebrate the success of "Krrish 3", which has been received well in Tamil Nadu.

Debutant directors lucky for Imran Khan

Actor Imran Khan, who is going through a rough patch in his career, says his only success has come from first time directors.

"The funny thing in my life is that my only success is with the first time director. Anytime I have gone away from the first time directors, things have not worked for me," Imran started his career with Abbas Tyrewala's directorial debut "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na", a hit at the box office.

"Logically, if I think about 'Kidnap', the director (Sanjay Gadhvi) had given a blockbuster like 'Dhoom', but it didn't work for me. My understanding is that I should work with guys of my age," added the 30-year-old.

Imran teamed up with expereicned directors like "Vishal Bharadwaj" for "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola" and Milan Luthria for "Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara", but both the films bombed at the box office.

"Obviously it's very disappointing because so many people had worked so hard on it and you want people to like it. But you have to understand that if you are in this business, this is a reality that more than hits you will have flops. It's part of your business. If you cannot take it, get out of it because you are in a wrong place."
