Who is threatening Pawan's atta?
With Mirchi Nadiya spring into Tollywood for second time and her glamor with her ease won her instant recognition even though she isn't familiar to the young generation. She could also draw attention of star director Trivikram who roped her as Pawan's aunt in Attarintiki Daredi. How the movie became a hit is a history and Nadia has been receiving all the attention that was due for her.
She even shot her remuneration to over 50 lakhs, but many filmmakers want to rope the close to 50-year-old glamorous Nadia into their projects and are seen queued up at her doors.
But it seems a threat is looming at large for Nadia with Tabu eyeing to get busy in Tollywood. Tabu's Telugu coupled with her industry connections put her notch higher than Nadia is and Nadia's career could well slow down with it say industry experts. Some critics hope Nadia could come up with some trick and can debunk the observers’ opinions too. Does she really? We need to wait to see what Nadia will be up to!

Balakrishna suffers fall at Legend sets
Box office Bonanza Balakrishna, who is presently doing a movie titled Legend under Boyapati Sreenu has suffered a fall today and injured.
The unit was at Simhachalam Temple premises in Visakhapatnam, and the shooting was going on at that spot for some days now. Nothing major happened and the actor escaped from what could have been a bigger accident. It is learnt that Balayya sustained minor injuries on his forearm and his right leg. He was immediately rushed to the nearby Seven Hills Hospital and to the surprise of the unit members Balakrishna resumed his shooting after getting treated.
It is heard that Legend unit has been shooting high-voltage action sequences at Simhachalam when he had jumped from some height as part of fight which resulted in slip and fall and the eventual injury. During Simha too Balayya suffered a fall and injury and the movie turned out to be a hit. If we have to go by that sentiment Legend too will create history at the box office.

In the same manner the sensational director is planning to release another small teaser marking birthday of Anushka tomorrow (November 7th). The director is currently busy making it and sources say that it will be a gift to fans of the lead lady and most probably will have some sword fight and horse riding scenes of Anushka to woo the fans.
We know Anushka has equally got trained in the special arts of horse riding and sword fighting so it could be an interesting teaser. But with that being said, we need to wait a little more to see what Anushka (teaser covering her) could do.

Anushka upset with abusive tweet!
A tweet on micro blogging site abusing the Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma for no reason shocked everyone including the heroine. The tweet “How much you sleep with Anurag Kashyap. Uska Bistar garam kar ke maja aaya na. Feel bad for you no one is giving you films." from fake account of Bollywood actor-producer Kamaal R Khan surfaced minutes after Anushka Sharma praised director Anurag Kashyap's latest short film ‘That Day After Every Day ’ which deals with sensitive issue of eve teasing and molestation on Twitter.
Not knowing it as the fake account, Anushka Sharma pulled up Kamaal R Khan on twitter. For which Kamaal reacted strongly tweeting “ When U @AnushkaSharma r fighting with my fake account hen how you remember my real acount to abuse me. UP wali ho chodta hoon but next time?”
What a pity for the heroine? She is abused publicly for supporting a film revolves around women safety!
'I do not get into bed so easily'
Pakistani import Veena Malik never shies away from speaking her mind. Be it her opinion on relationships, her ex beaus or even films, she is one actress who never minces her words.
Recently, while talking to a popular daily, Veena has made a surprising statement – “I am a very simple girl.” She also added that “I don’t have any physical contact with the person I have a relationship with in the first one year. For me kissing a guy takes six months. I had many boyfriends, but I didn’t sleep with all of them. I don’t get into bed easily.” Perhaps she forgot about the footage of her getting intimate with Ashmit Patel on ‘Bigg Boss 4’.
Now all this makes us wonder that why is Veena keen on doing the clean-up act?
RGV condemns anti-tobacco ads
Ram Gopal Varma has never been one to zip his lips on controversial matters. Now anti-smoking and anti-tobacco campaigns shown prior to films' screenings in theatres have caught his interest and the filmmaker questions the logic behind them.
"People want to forget problems for two hours when they come to see a movie and they are pounced upon with grotesque close ups of diseased lungs and mouths. I have been seeing a million anti-smoking campaigns since I was a kid, but yet to see a single smoker who gave up smoking because of them," Varma posted on Twitter.
"Why should non-smokers who pay good money to see the likes of Hrithiks and Katrinas suffer grotesque visuals of diseased lungs and mouths?"
According to Indian law, a disclaimer about the evils of tobacco use has to be flashed while showing smoking scenes in films or on TV. There is also an anti-smoking ad film showcased before a film is screened in the theatre as well as during the interval.
In fact, it is due to this reason that acclaimed international filmmaker Woody Allen refused to screen his movie "Blue Jasmine" in the country as he didn't want the audiences to get distracted by the anti-tobacco disclaimers.
Varma, who is gearing up for the release of "Satya 2", believes: "If the government's only intention is to educate us moronic idiots on the dangers of smoking, why stop only with smoking and ignore other worse evils?"
He feels that "when in a film some people play cards there should be a mandatory super - 'Gambling is bad'; when someone in the film drinks, they should put a super - 'Drinking is unhealthy' and should show grotesque visuals of the liver in half screen.
"When someone kills someone on screen, they should order the producer to freeze the frame and put a super - 'Murder is a crime and it carries death penalty'; When someone is having an affair on screen, the censors should put a rule of a super saying 'Adultery will make you burn in hell'..."
Varma, a National award-winning filmmaker, finds that the government's logic is - "What they fail to teach us at educational institutions, they force us to learn at the movies".
He is upfront in saying that "if they (government) really believe that ads can stop people from having vices, they should logically do that for all vices... why only cigarette and gutka (tobacco)".

For Deepika, chemistry lies in film's script, dialogues
Deepika Padukone's chemistry with Ranveer Singh in "Ram-leela" is much talked about thanks to its trailers, but she credits its script for this.
The actress says she has shared a great onscreen camaraderie with her other co-stars as well, and that's why she believes that the chemistry lies in the script.
"I have had great chemistry with three other people as well. I have had it with Ranbir (Kapoor), Saif (Ali Khan) and Shah Rukh (Khan). I think that's really a classic example of 'chemistry lies in the script'. It lies in the dialogues, it lies in the way the characters are written," the 27-year-old said here Tuesday at the unveiling of the cover of Star Week magazine featuring her.
She also says "a large part" of the chemistry is to do with "your comfort level with your co-star".
"But the fact that I have had great chemistry with three to four people, (I guess) a lot of it is in the script," she added.
Deepika has already delivered two superhits this year - "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" with Ranbir Kapoor and "Chennai Express" with Shah Rukh Khan, both making it to the Rs.100 crore club.
She shared screen space with Saif Ali Khan in "Cocktail" last year.
Deepika hopes that "Ram-leela" and her films in the new year prove to be equally special.
"I hope 2014 is as special for me as 2013 was. In the beginning of the year the only thing I knew was I am going to have four releases. I didn't know how each of them is going to do. Each film was so different from the other.
"It also tested me in terms of the amount of work I was doing because there was a time when I was shooting 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', 'Chennai Express' and 'Ram-leela' at the same time.
"But looking at the results of 'Chennai Express' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', I can't complain. It was worth every minute of being on those film sets. I just hope with 'Ram-Leela' and the other films that I am doing, it is going to be equally special," she added.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Ram-leela" is slated to release Nov 15.

'Super bhaiya' is the best compliment for me
Actor Vivek Oberoi, who is riding high on the success of `Krrish 3`, reveals that "super bhaiya" is the best compliment he has got so far for playing villain `Kaal` in the movie.
"The best compliment is from the kids. One of the kids came and told me that you are not super villain, but super `bhaiya`. I loved that," said the actor at a recent event. "I think that’s a better compliment for me than superhero, super villain or Kaal. I think super ‘bhaiya’ is my favourite title," he added.
Well we surely agree with you on this Vivek!
'Chandi' mouths 'Athadu' dialogue
We have hit songs copied (ok if copied sounded harsh read as taken) as movie titles, and are seeing the trend of even super hit dialogues being redone with little tweaks.
The point is, 'Re' seems to be the in-thing, whether it is Tollywood or Kollywood or some other film industry. So our 'Chandi' has done the same thing now! Priyamani-starrer Chandi has a Mahesh's dialogue retold by none other than the dusky beauty herself, albeit a little tweaked.
Here goes that dialogue: "Samudraanni choodalanuko tappuledu kaani tsunami choodalani anukoku chachchipotaav" is the rehashed dialogue from her upcoming heroine-centric movie 'Chandi' which has been teasing us with delayed release for a long time now. While the dialogue barely makes sense, it looks the Chandi makers are way too much carried by our 'Athadu' dialogue and have simply put it.
If you can recall the Athadu dialgue - gun has a bullet so the dialogue makes sense and there is a connection. How can sea be always connected to a tsunami? Well that's Chandi for you folks in a sample!

Catch some gangster action with 'Satya 2' Friday
A week after the heroism of superhero Krrish on the big screen with "Krrish 3", gear up to experience the chills and thrills of underworld drama with Ram Gopal Varma's “Satya 2”, which hits screens Friday.
The film was originally scheduled to release Oct 25, but it was delayed due to issues, which cropped up between Varma, and one of the producers of the film, Arun Sharma.
"Satya 2" is made within Rs.15 crore, according to sources. The hype around the film has been built up since a long time.
It was touted to be a sequel to Varma's hugely successful 1998 film "Satya". But the filmmaker has emphasised several times that the new film is not a sequel.
He has stressed on the fact that the film will stand apart from the other gangster dramas as here, the protagonist will “reinvent the underworld”.
"'Satya 2' is about a man whose thinking starts where all the earlier real life dons like Dawood Ibrahim's and Chota Rajan's thinking ended," Varma had shared on Twitter once.
Said to be Varma's last gangster film, the movie will see debutant actor Puneet Singh in the lead role of a corporate gangster. It will also introduce two new faces - Anaika Soti and Aradhana Gupta.
The music of the film is varied with the promotional track being inspired by the theme song of Hollywood film "The Godfather".

'Krrish 3' crosses Rs.100 crore mark
Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan starrer "Krrish 3" has crossed the Rs.100 crore mark in four days.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the news about the movie that released Nov 1, two days before Diwali.
"'Krrish 3' hits a ton. Crosses Rs.100 crore marks on Monday. Friday to Monday: Rs.108.61 crore," he tweeted.
He also said that the Rakesh Roshan's film has "shattered" the highest single day record.
"And highest single day record lies shattered," wrote Adarsh and added that "Krrish 3" created history on Monday by collecting Rs.35.91 crore at the box office. "The highest single day figure ever," he said.
Another trade pundit Komal Nahta described "Krrish 3" as "Roshans' Diwali gift to the industry".
"'Krrish 3' lights up the festival of lights. Nets Rs.35.91 crore Monday, which is the highest ever single-day collection. Roshans' Diwali gift to the industry," Nahta tweeted.
According to sources, the movie was made on a budget of Rs.100-Rs.150 crore. It hit about 3,500 screens and from day one has been doing well at the box office.
If it earned Rs.25 crore on the first day, the second day's earning was Rs.23.20 crore and on Diwali, the earning was Rs.24.30.
A third in the franchise that began with 2003 hit sci-fi movie "Koi... Mil Gaya", "Krrish 3" takes forward the story of the superhero Krrish.
If "Krrish" saw Krishna defeating Siddhant Arya and save his father Rohit, "Krrish 3" sees the superhero fighting with a dark force, an evil genius called Kaal, played by Vivek Oberoi.
The movie also features Kangana Ranaut as a mutant, while Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead.

'Raja Rani' not to be remade in Telugu
A.R. Murugadoss, co-producer of Tamil romantic-drama "Raja Rani" has refuted rumours that the film is being remade in Telugu. He says he is only planning to dub it.
"The Telugu dubbed version will hit the screens soon. The news about the film being remade in Telugu is baseless. It's a film for youngsters as well as family audiences, and therefore, I'm hoping it will be received very well in Telugu as well," Murugadoss told.
"Raja Rani" reportedly minted over Rs.20 crore in the first two weeks of its release worldwide. It was adjudged a super-hit at the box office.
Starring Arya, Nayanthara, Jai and Nazriya Nazim, the film is a love story of a married couple who struggle to embrace the future because they can't forget their respective pasts.
The film, directed by debutant Atlee, was jointly produced by Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios.

Modern Seetha's stunning shockers
Nayanatara became modern Seetha after her amazing performance in Bapu-Balakrishna's mythological film Srirama Rajyam. Though many criticised her selection, she shut her detractors with her superb performance. Still many couldn't forget Nayan and her performance as Seetha.
But now this modern Seetha's acts are shocking all. In her recently released flick Arambham, she seduced all in a wet white transparent shirt. She sent signals that she is not averse to glamour roles with her acts.
Kollywood media is abuzz that Nayan's glamour played important role in the success of Arambham. Chandi filmmakers are releasing the film in Telugu as Aata Arambam.

I want to work for the upliftment of society
King Khan of tinsel villa, Shah Rukh Khan, says he wants to work for the upliftment of the society.
“From this birthday onwards at least till two years I want to do work for upliftment of people who don't have life as good as me. I want to do something good in small little bits and pieces. I have told people in my team let's go and help needy people in a bigger way, he said on his 48th birthday.
Great thought Shahrukh!!!
Chinta Chachchina Pulupu Chaavale – Dil Raju
Dil Raju is a successful producer in the Telugu Film Industry, but in the recent times no one encountered losses the way he did. His Yevadu is in labs still and his Ramayya has ended almost its life on screens without minting money the way he had expected. Sources close to Raju say that he'd lost close to 12 crores because of Ramayya's BO debacle.
While there are some observers who are saying that Dil Raju’s strategy of attacking Pawan Kalyan (to time the release of RV with Attarintiki Daredi) has actually badly backfired.
In fact, Dil Raju first targeted Pawan with his Yevadu but had to shelve it and bring out Ramayya to unleash on AD. Still farcical thing is that he is currently producing Sai Dharam Teja's next which has been titled after Pawan's song. Even after that he says that he is not looking at cashing in on Pawan's image. His attitude reminds us of an old Telugu adage: Chinta Chachchina Pulupu Chaavala!

Took me three years to convince Gopichand
It took three years for director Veerabhadram to get actor Gopichand to collaborate with him on a yet-untitled Telugu actioner that is slated to go on the floors next year.
"We have been talking about working together for three years now. We were supposed to team up earlier but it didn't materialise at the last minute. But I'm happy that finally he has agreed to do a film with me and I'm sure I won't let him down," Veerabhadram told.
"It will be along the lines of my film 'Poolarangadu' with a lot of focus on entertaining audiences from start to finish," he added.
The director's recent release Nagarjuna-starrer "Bhai", which is still running in cinemas, has turned out to be a dud.
He says the film has done "decent business". Now he is looking forward to the project with Gopichand.
"We will launch the film in December but will start shooting it only after he is done with his current project with director Gopal," said Veerabhadram.
Ananda Prasad will produce the film under his home banner Bhavya Creations. The team is yet to zero in on the leading lady.
Gopichand is currently shooting for a Tamil-Telugu untitled bilingual with B. Gopal. It also stars Nayanthara.

Satya2: Ramu impressed with Sarvanand’s hardcore action
Ace director Ramgopal Verma was quite appreciative of Sarvanand’s action in his new venture ‘Satya 2’, which is slated for November 8 release.
Speaking to a private news channel, Verma said that Sarvanand hitherto had a ‘soft’ image and he will come out as a totally different actor in his new crime thriller.
While ‘Satya’ had Mumbai gang wars as its background, ‘Satya2’ is all about Hyderabad and its denizens. While Verma is an efficient hand in making films on organised crime, Satya2 goes further and deals with criminal activities organized in pucca corporate style techniques and finesse.
Verma tried to give Hyderabad a melting pot of desires and determination and people from all parts of Andhra Pradesh find a magnet-like attraction in the city.
Unlike all Verma films, Satya2 has a romantic side as well.
Secondly, Verma made it clear that he is not going to make films, in fact, he will not be able to make films, with top heroes like Pawan Kalyan. He told the channel: “I like our top heroes the most. My inability to make films with them arises from the fact that their films need to have a fight or a song at a given place.. and I don’t like such things.”

Who is that girl, Darling Prabhas?
We know Prabhas has given two years dates to sensational director SS Rajamouli for his magnum opus project Bahubali. The high-budget has been on floors for close to six months now and has taken a year pre-production time before it went on floors. And Jakkanna recently confirmed that he may be requiring more time than just two years to complete the project the way he wanted.
And even in the recently released teaser too the release of the movie was mentioned as 2015. And we have learnt that the movie could be split to two parts as the length is coming more than planned. With this Prabhas' family has been thinking they get the young Rebel Star married.
Although family were hunting for a suitable girl, since the movie went on floors they postponed the marriage project. But its learnt that even the director gave nod to Prabhas marriage. Coming to the news it seems the family has almost okay-ed a girl who is related to Krishnam Raju and its only that the Darling has to okay the girl and everything else seem to be okay for both families!

Will 2014 place Mahesh as Number 1?
We guess no one is accepting the movies at the pace Mahesh is doing in the recent times, not even NTR who has a record of finishing of filming faster than all heroes. And at that tempo Mahesh might well be treating us with bumper crop of releases in 2014.
First for the Pongal we have Sukumar’s directorial 1 Nenokkadine release slated and then Mahesh who will soon join on board the Srinu Vaitla’s 'Aagadu' is said to complete the shooting for it in one schedule of 120 days which is expected for summer 2014 release.
And then Mahesh also signed for Aswini Dutt's movie which is believed to go on sets during first quarter of 2014 and is expected to release for Dasara or Diwali and then Mahesh is also doing a cameo as 'Gona Gannareddy' in Gunasekhar's magnum opus historical entertainer 'Rudhramadevi' which is said to release in 2014 itself. So with about 4 movies it’s a feast no doubt for fans and a great opportunity for Mahesh to claim number 1 spot too. What say, people?
