Mahesh – Koratala Siva film confirmed!

Koratala Siva who delivered a blockbuster with his debut film in the form of Mirchi is going to direct Mahesh Babu in his second.  Koratala was able to convince Mahesh with a story and is now preparing the bound script. This project will go on floors from July 2014 after Mahesh Babu’s current commitments.

Bollywood production giant, UTV Motion Pictures and Mahesh Babu’s sister Manjula’s Indira Productions are going to jointly produce this movie. The casting of the movie will begin very soon.

Mahesh Babu’s new record in Karnataka

Superstar Mahesh had started records hunt well in advance to the release of his next, 1 – Nenokkadine. The Karnataka rights of the movie fetched a whopping 4.5 Crore. RNR films bagged the rights paying the highest price for any Telugu movie till date. The movie shooting is going on at brisk pace and 2014 Sankranthi release is being planned.

Mahesh Babu’s son, Gautam will be making his filmy debut as child artist in this movie. Kriti Sanon, a newcomer is making her debut with this film.  Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta are producing the cinema under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music, his first time for a Mahesh Babu movie.

Sunil’s Tamil debut on cards!

Comedian turned actor Sunil is currently busy wrapping up the shooting of  his next, Dasara Bullodu directed by Kalisundham Raa fame Uday Shankar. The movie is nearing completion and will release very soon. The actor is listening to several scripts for his next project. And we hear that he okayed a bilingual project to be directed by Balaji Shakthivel.

This movie will mark Sunil’s Tamil debut. Balaji Shakthivel is well known to Telugu people with the success of Bharath’s Premisthe (dubbed).  Currently Shakthivel is busy working on the full script of the movie. More details on this project later.

Stylish Star to gauge success?

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is currently planning to race ahead of other stars with Race Gurram scoring success under the direction of Surender Reddy. The film is touted to come during Sankranthi next year.

Earlier Allu Arjun tasted a rare failure with Iddarammayilatho under the direction of Puri Jagannath. Now Allu Arjun since he is teaming with Surender Reddy who had a flop in the form of Oosaravelli, is keen on gauging the success of Race Gurram before signing another film.

That was the reason why Bunny didnot give green signal to either Gopichand Malineni and Harish Shankar's films. Another reason is Ram Charan's film Toofan which tasted failure. Buzz is he is keen on gauging Yevadu performance before planning his next project.

Top heroines disappearing from Tollywood?

Tollywood it seems is all set to face star crunch going by the recent developments. Right from Ileana to recently Samantha all are disappearing from Tollywood silver screen. 

Already beauties like Nayanatara, Ileana and Shriya are fast fading from oblivion. Lead heroine Samantha is getting ready to take a break from Tollywood. She is planning to concentrate on Kollywood. She says "I would like to take a break from Telugu films next year. I have a couple of Tamil projects in the pipeline and would like to concentrate on them. I have not signed any new Telugu film,".

In the meantime Richa Gagopadhyaya who is starring in Bhai is also going on a break to pursue her higher education in US. The actor has already left for the US, early this week. Same is the case with Kajal and Shruti Hasan. Both the beauties didnot sign new films.

Sizzling beauty from Sandalwood Hamsa Nandini who is spellbounding all with her 'special' performances, says viewers will have high expectations on item numbers as they are the highlight in the film. 

Hamsa after starring in Anumanaspadam turned item gal and featured in many songs. From Mirchi, Attarintiki Daaredi and Ramayya Vastavayya she attracted the attention of all and now she is all set to bowl viewers with her song in Bhai. 

Speaking about her song in Bhai she says it will be shot in a marriage backdrop. She says its memorable moments for her to star opposite Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan, NTR,Nagarjuna in single year. She said she never expected it. Currently Hamsa is starring as Madhanika in Rudramadevi.

Shah Rukh unwell, catching up on movies on telly

Mumbai: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is not well, is catching up on his movies on television while resting and says "my life is in films not years".

"Last few days seem like landmark for one or other film of mine. 'Don' yesterday (Saturday), 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' today (Sunday) ... My life is in films not years ... Wow," Shah Rukh tweeted Sunday.

"Been under the weather. Will spend tonight watching 'Chennai Express' on Zee TV ... I am sure will bring some some taste to my bland chicken soup," the 47-year-old, who has been down with fever, wrote.

His next will be Farah Khan-directed "Happy New Year" and he will team up with Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani in the film.

Greedy hero duped of Rs 50 lakhs!

Bollywood hero Akshay Khanna was duped after being promised quick and double returns from investments in the commodity market 

Akshaye Khanna has filed a police complaint against a couple, who allegedly duped him of Rs 50 lakh. The 38-year-old has stated that he was promised to get double on his investment sum in just 45 days. The crime branch of Mumbai police is investigating the complaint filed by him, a police official confirmed Sunday. The complaint has been lodged at the Malabar Hill police station against the couple who are from Andheri.

According to reports, Akshaye has named in his complaint Satyabrata Chakravarty and his wife Sona, president and director, respectively, of Intech Images Private Ltd, who allegedly duped him of Rs.50 lakh, after promising him that they would double it in 45 days after investing it in the commodity market.

PC is ready to playback for any actress!

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who is also a singing sensation now, says she would love to playback for other heroines. She feels it would be a fun experience.

"I want to playback for some other heroine. I think it will be very interesting. If I like the song, I am okay with (doing) it, but I should like the song. I am ready to playback for any actress," Priyanka said at a recent event.

The actress, who will next be seen in Krrish 3, has been experimenting with different genres of films because she likes to take risks.

"I want to do different things. I am a risk-taker I want to be a game changer in my personal career. I don`t want to follow anybody`s footsteps.” Well that’s nice to know Priyanka.

Shruti to die happily

Shruti Hasan who entertained all with her beauty and performance in Gabbar Singh and more recently in Ramayya Vastavayya says she is ready to die happily on screen if her role plays an important role in the final run of the story.

Shruti says when Harish Shankar at narrated her role she was apprehensive but later she was happy after she came to know that her role is crucial for the story. Shruti says she saw her father play such roles in many of his superhit films and she is not averse to five minute cameos.

Shruti also said NTR is a great dancer and she enjoyed sharing screen presence with him.

Raviteja’s Movie on Sets

Raviteja had a gap after Balupu movie. He recorded a hit after a series of flops. He didn’t want to be in hurry to take up next movie. He wanted the story should be fine tuned before going to the sets for the upcoming movie in Bobby’s direction . Now script is ready and the movie is gearing up for the sets on November 5.

Kalal’s younger sister Nisha Agarwal may get married before her sister. She was in a few movies in lead role. The talk in the town is that she is gearing up to marry Mumbai’s industrialist Karan Vaachelaa. The wedding is planned on December 28 says sources. This is Gabbar Singh 2, sequel to Gabbar Singh, directed by Sampath Nandi. There was curiosity in the town about the new heroine in this sequel. Bollywood beauty Anushka Sharma was considered in the beginning, as she demanded more remuneration her name was dropped. Now Samantha name popped up as heroine. She paired with Pavan in Attarinitiki Daredi and recorded a super hit. Pavan praised her performance as well as her off screen social service activities. Akkineni sudden pressmeet

All of a sudden Akkineni Nageswara Rao called a press meet. All his family members were there. This created curiosity in media circles. Akkineni  wanted to tell about his health and he shared his thoughts with media in that press meet. He said that he celebrated his 90^thbirthday, many wished him to live 100 years. He revealed that he had stomach ache recently, and doctors said that mild traces of cancer are  there. But there is nothing to worry, because cancer cells are very much active in younger people, where as in old age cancer cells mostly not active. Akkineni said that he had heart surgery 25 years back, when he underwent surgery, its was told to him that he can live after surgery 10 to 15 years. Because of the affection poured by fans he said he is actively living. He continued that he is not much bothered by the cancer, and he loves to continue acting and asked his fans not to give much importance to his ill health. He advised them not to take pains to come down all the way to see him and not to get him troubled. He said in his 90 years of life he is with cinema for 74 years. He thanked all the fans.

After sensational hit with Pavan starrer Attarintiki Daredi, everyone curious about what Trivikram will do next. The talk going round is that he may launch a movie with NTR.
